Try a single explanatory sentence on the estate’s focused row where a destination label can be misunderstood.
Destination label alone, explanation on focus, or preview before committing?
Some controls tell you where you can act. Others tell you what will change or show that the action was accepted. Compare those three jobs across real games.
A small diamond sits beside Campaign. Battle and the other destinations sit in a quiet column beside the lit serpent. The frame records the marker’s position; its input cause is unverified.
In the inspected project source, Battle opens the battle menu. Selecting the Attack tab opens a command tray. The pictured frame alone cannot show either next step.

Test an Inspect action that displays an authorized forecast, with a separately named command for committing.
Keep proposed inspection or attack distinct from the public result released after the roll.
Compare what the player can infer. The scale labels describe the production context of each example.
These are editorial historical comparisons for UIX-01. We screened publisher galleries and developer manuals for 24 PC games and two console titles, selected readable feature-level exhibits and ranked how clearly they answer the question at the moment of use, how well the image and original account support the reading, and what distinct method the example contributes. Scope spans the 1990 Monkey Island lineage through 2024 releases. Awards identify the category a jury actually recognized. The editorial rank is a judgment about this interface problem, not that jury’s verdict or a vote covering every game ever made. The three Snake Eyes picks optimize for transfer to the estate and opponent-turn arena, separately from rank.
Each entry links to the image and the feature evidence. Award badges name the recognized category. The saved direction records the director’s own choices.
